Omigod! Janet's 40!
Anyway, I wish you the best on your big day. People can say what they want to about you but you're still here. I mean, please - I can remember when Stacy Lattisaw had a bigger career than you! I can also remember editors telling me (in my magazine days) that you weren't "important enough" for a cover - even though you were breaking records, selling out stadiums worldwide and had regular #1 records. Today, they wouldn't dream of denying Beyonce her rightful cover - and I know you were a part of the crew that broke that barrier down, so I tip my hat to you.
Happy Birthday!

Funny how time flies...
whether you're having fun or not!
Happy Birthday to you Ms. Jackson-
'cause you taught me how to be nasty,
um,on the dance floor :)
Who is Janet Jackson?
That was real nice:) She is truly a surviving when it comes to the 'Wood.
Folks should give her her props!
good old janet, i think every guy i've dated had a crush on penny! i was never really into her music, but there's no denying that she's a helluva entertainer!
No surprises here.
Black.Don't.Crack.
I hope I look that good at 40...
Sangin Diva - Time does fly doesn't it? Oh, and I'm sure you are just so innocent (ha!)
Rune - I know Janet's not you're type of brunette, but you need to stop playin'...
Cocoa - Folks should definitely give Janet her props. There's something to be said about longevity.
Glam - It seemed like every guy I knew back in the day had a crush on her too. But hey, as far as I was concerned, they had to compete with Philip Michael Thomas!
P - Black definitely won't crack - as long as you take care of it!
Phoenix - I'm sure you will look that good at 40!
Here is one women hoping ( and praying and wishing) she looks as good as Janet does when she gets 40. Now I just have to wonder what she is doing with Jermaine Dupri?
I have no type of brunette...I just like the dark color...
SmartBlkwoman - I'm sneaking up on 40 myself, so I'm working on it.
Rune - Okay, if you say so...
Happy Birthday little Penny!!!
The Jermaine Dupree thing is still very disturbing... (lol!)
Janet is a true diva.
Happy Birthday Ms. Jackson and thanks for
"What have you done for me lately". That song made life a bit hard for some of us...
True diva..
She is definitely a diva! And we are critically low on divas in our generation.
